Quiche (made by the hubs) and kale salad, yum, but look closely: steamed kale ribs with olive oil & feta cheese. Tasted a bit like steamed broccoli. I just read an article in the NY Times about proper chefs using food waste in their menus. I thought, hmmmm, why not and it was ok. The rest of the fam were all, nope no thanks. #foodwaste by kathscombos
