I picked up some "ugly" taters out of the "seconds" produce bin at the grocery store and made them all beautiful. Prepared as Hasselback Potato - the edges get all crispy, the insides are nicely cooked - stuffed with @beehivecheese Apple & Walnut Smoked, topped with #ScrumptiousPantry Pickled Beaver Dam Peppers and finished with a dash of #ScrumptiousPantry Chiltepin #HotSauce. The latter is my contribution to #CincoDeMayo. After all, this teeny pepper (also known as birds eye chile) is growing in the Mexican desert (as well as TX & NM, which makes it the only pepper native to the US). #HeirloomFlavors by scrumptious_pantry
