Using up the last of my #zerowaste strawberries... This is fresh chia "jam". No boiling and no 6 tonnes of sugar required. This was about 1 cup strawberries, chopped very small, mixed with a couple of tablespoons of water, a couple of tablespoons of chia seeds and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (you could add more but I like to keep my sugar intake down!) A little vanilla essence for luck, stir it all together and pop the jar in the fridge overnight.
